Now in our third year — a day of learning, conversation, and collaboration.
Join your colleagues from across the North Carolina Community College System for our annual English Teaching Conference. Each year’s program brings together faculty for sessions and roundtables on the work that shapes our classrooms. Our 2027 conference is focused around one central question: What’s Next in English in the Age of AI?
Past conferences have included sessions on student engagement, balancing empathy and rigor, teaching critical reading skills, and so much more. This conference is built for English faculty, so if you have an idea for research or an innovation that you would like to share with your colleagues, please submit a proposal below.
